Emma & Andrew came to us five months back with the idea of graduating from Law school and getting married in the same weekend!
With the help of CFS DESIGN and Helen Hening of withgraceproductions, we made this a reality....!

The inspiration for this beautiful Monday wedding was "Champagne and lilacs"- & tons of tulips!!

The ceiling was draped in off white Chiffon with lilac uplighting and a few scattered white lanterns to create the most romantic feel!
Emma wanted to create a feeling of elegance with lighting & a personal touch through her floral choices.. Her style was classic- including florals as the main decoration .... We used 500 Tulips and various mixed locally grown anenomes, lilacs and mauve roses to create this very special day....

The beautiful cake was created by Jamaica's Cakes- love the cascading roses!!

It was truly a day that came to life with the vision of all involved...... We are happy to share it with our followers!

May 2010 has been filled with some wonderful events at Malibu west....
We had the pleasure of sharing part in the day of Bobbie and Leo on Thursday May 27th.

This stylish event was carefully put together by Bobbie , the bride & CFSDESIGN.
Bobbie's vision for the day was a chic black and pink affair with Damask printed linens and bold florals.
She wanted to transform the Beach Club into a modern place with an incredible ocean backdrop!!!
The details included a hot pink and black CANDY BAR with vintage photos of the bride and groom's families. It was such a great idea, very personal and "super sweet"!!!
The guests thoroughly enjoyed filling their bags ....

We wish them the best in their new life together.....

Nikki and Adam's Seaside Garden Wedding

What a pleasure it was to celebrate the wedding of Nikki and Adam!!! .....This beautiful young couple planned this event for many months and left no detail untouched!!! With the coordination and styling of this wonderful day by Helen Hening of withgraceproductions, our favorite local coordinator- this wedding defined beach Chic!!

The idea for this event was to create a beach inspired affair with accents of English Garden florals. Full event decor and floral designs were produced by cfsdesign,llc by Carrie Fick Sawyer. Carrie and Helen worked together to evoke the ultimate day for these two by providing details that defined this great couple!!!

The personalized feel of this event was highlighted in the By The Sea inspired cake fully equipped with a cake topper that was as comical as the two people it represented!!

We loved being able to share this event with you all- it really captured all the elements of putting together a dream day...... Take a look at everything Malibu West has to offer!!!

One of our favorite events this year was photographed by Megan Stark.

This event

encompassed all the natural beauty of the beach and it's elements. Our location in Malibu is a perfect setting in general for a wedding, but when an event incorporates the feeling of a tropical beachy look.... it's only enhanced!!!Megan caught an amazing moment during the ceremony as a flock of Pelicans flew above in unison!!! Simply stunning day for a wedding!

We love the simplicity of the Orchids and candles created by cfsdesign,llc. The event was highlighted with moss greens and natural sand lanterns which looked so beautiful at night.... A knotted Chuppah was the perfect way to create a feeling of organic beauty.

The coordination and planning was provided by Craig's Crew to create this very special evening wedding on the beach.

The beauty of a Malibu Beach location is that every day in summer is a great day for a wedding!!!Lori and Robert shared with family and friends their love on a beautiful Monday afternoon. The day was absolutely glorious and the pictures say a thousand words about the perfect day they experienced .....

The day was captured by Megan Stark photography who shared with us her incredible photographs of the love that Robert and Lori shared that beautiful Monday!!The evning was highlighted with lighting , decor and floral designs by cfsdesignllc.

The room was filled with Lori's favorite flowers, the stargazer lilly which smelled unbeliveable.. It was a fitting way to create an extra special something for this awesome couple!!!

Andreanna and Eric's Rose Garden Wedding

The Malibu West Beach Club had the honor of sharing in the very special day for Andreanna and Eric. The inspiration for this beautiful event came from the romantic sweet feeling that this couple shared. Over 1500 Peach and Ivory roses filled the ceremony and reception with the most beautiful tones, it was truly a Romantic feel!!

With the help of Helen Hening of withgraceproductions in coordinating this event , an idea for magical evening came to life........The bride imagined a beachy affair with a garden elegance.... This was all accomplished with the help of Carrie Fick Sawyer of cfsdesignllc.

Floral creations and all lighting and decor created by Carrie transformed the space into an elegant space filled with GRACE and ROSES!!!The evening would not have been complete without the beautiful catering provided by Monrose catering.

What a beautiful event for an amazing couple!!!
